Three men charged with drug trafficking, firearm possession

Police say three men from the region of Peel are charged with drug trafficking and possession of a weapon.

Peel Police say they seized large amounts of cocaine, marijuana and hashish in a car stopped at a traffic light on Thursday.

“With the assistance of the Street Crime Gang Unit and the Tactical and Rescue Unit, several residential search warrants were then executed within the Greater Toronto Area, resulting in further illegal drugs being located and the seizure of two firearms,” police stated.

Drugs seized had a street value of $440,000.

Charged are Andrezej Zalewski, 39, Aref Erfani Motadel, 24 and Winton Mcintyre, 26.
